| "Istikhaara Dream Interpretation"
Assalamu Alaikum, I did a Istikhaara. And I saw a dream. But I cannot understand it's meaning. I performed two rakat prayer saying that I love a guy, my Istikhaara question was to know that he likes me or not, or he loves me or not. It was the 30 Ramadan night. I could not sleep upto 2:30 am. Then I woke up at 3:45 am for taking Sahri. then I said my Fazar prayer and go for sleep. But I did not see anything. At 9:45 am I woke up again for releasing pee. Then I go for sleep without wudu thinking that the Istikhaara dream time has over. But about 10:45 am I dreamt a dream. There me and the quy was laughing in a picture(probably) and the picture was a wedding picture, and I was wearing a red cloth(shari) there. and "i love you" (probably white) was written in the picture. There were many pictures there joitly, but same picture. I could not understand that this is Istikhaara dream or not? And if it is Istikhaara dream then what is the explanation of this dream? |
| I used to be a fanatic of all those fortune tellers. I would also consult them regarding my dreams and what they meant. Soon after, I grew tired of them because most were just extorting money from me. Fortune telling doesn't come cheap nowadays because these people make a living out of it. Now my philosophy is, any fortune teller who asks for a fee is not a real fortune teller but a businessman whom you should stay away from. |
| Each and every one of us has his own way of seeking spiritual help. For some people, they use Istikhara which is a way of seeking guidance from Allah. This is their way when they need someone to turn to at times of loneliness and big problems. This is the period when they ask for the ultimate grace from Allah. I want to know how it is executed. Any help? |
| That is very true Frances. I can say that not all are good and are true fortune tellers. I think we should not give the power to decide on what is there in our future. We are the ones who do the future, our future is the result of what we do at the present. I have nothing against those fortune tellers, just stating what is on my mind here. |
