Thank author of this post/commentHave you ever felt that you do believe that this universe has a creator that we can all be aware of, but you don't believe in the systematized religions that claim to know the creator's true nature? I, for one, know a lot of people who think like this. They would like to describe themselves to be "spiritual" rather than "religious" and claim that they have a personal relationship with their creator that only they could ever understand. There's actually a formal term for this type of belief, including those beliefs that are very close to it, and it is called deism.
