| Flesh, Soul, Spirit The flesh and spirit both call and pull upon the soul "consciousness". The flesh is the lowest and most gross mode of energy and reality, the spirit is the highest and most subtle mode of energy and reality. The soul is the true seat of consciousness, as it is situated between flesh and spirit. |
| The Bible states very clearly that the flesh without the spirit is dead, but at the same time it is important to remember that we are put in this fleshly body for a reason, and that is to experience life here on earth as a learning center, or school. We should not minimize that aspect of our existence, as it is crucial to our souls completeness in the eternal world. |
