What do you think of my hypothesis? People believe in psychic phenomena and a lot of religious/spiritual stuff because they are afraid of dying and if you convince yourself that there are forces beyond the physical realm you feel like you are immortal. To accept reality is to face fear and so religion is weakness. Agree or disagree? I have heard PhDs say some stupid things in my life. I dont have nearly so much respect for education as Deslock. What do you think of my hypothesis?
