| This poetry is almost the same with the proverb which goes "It is better to die on your feet than live on your kneed." Let's not allow anyone to take our own rights. This poem is a very good reflection about our freedom, liberty, and independence. It will bring a realization to many people to become stronger despite the challenges in the country. | Um.... excuse me for being a critic, but i am too much of a lover of poetry not to think that maybe a little critique now and then might be helpful. Is english your first language? If not, then perhaps you might enjoy composing poetry in your native tongue rather than English, as you need a slightly better grasp of English to write poetry that is interesting and not redundant. |

| I can imagine how anyone who is stuck in a situation that he does not like feels and he probably feels like a slave. He is there against his will and he cannot really do anything about it. But we have freedom. We can always choose to be happy and everything happens for a reason. We should find meaning in everything we do and reflect on its purpose in our lives. |
