| Concentration Camp Last night I dreamed that I was on a journey to find the victims of the Holocaust. I was driving on this country highway that was very windy and full of green grassy hills. I was with a black man whom I do not know or have never known in this life. He was going with me to seek out the same answers that I was looking for concerning the Holocaust victims. I don't remember what answers I was looking for exactly. The two of us ended up at this concentration camp where we were given a tour. The tour was almost like a holographic tour. It included holographic victims and re-enactments of the types of horrible events that occurred at the camp. There were victims and SS and we were an active part of the virtual holographic simulation. We did not experience any of the physical pain or suffering of that nature, but we did experience the emotional and spiritual pain of the victims. It was like melding into their entities or auras feeling what they had felt and immersing ourselves within their experience. Then our tour guide released the simulation and me and my companion went back outside the camp and just stood there looking at the empty camp from outside its fence. It was so eerie and lonely that feeling. And I found myself wanting to release their pain. I deeply wished to be able to honor their pain and suffering as I knelt down onto my knees before the camp fence and I began to sob and cry for all of those helpless powerless innocent victims. It was a very strange experience to find myself having this spiritual release within my dream last night. I felt like I was one of them somehow. I felt like I was finally able to relate to their suffering in some way. For some reason I felt like I wanted to do this. The black gentleman who was with me just stood there with the female tour guide as they watched over me as I allowed myself to suffer this emotional trama for myself. Again I can say that there was this huge feeling of release for me in doing this. I can't explain it or remember the details of it beyond that. Once I had finally stopped crying I rose to my feet and went with the black gentleman back to the truck we had come in and we drove back onto that windy country highway and that is all that I really remember of the dream. What is weird is I feel like I am glad that I had this experience of compassion in my dream. It was as if my soul was seeking to release some kind of guilt it had within. |
