There are bunches of books, sites etc that give interpretations for some numbers. But, how should we handle numbers that don’t fit into the list of standard interpretations?The number 55 is an example of this kind of number. When I see such numbers, I first make an effort to factor the number into smaller numbers – possible their primes. Thus, 55 = 5 X 11. And, as some readers may know, 11 is the 5th prime. This means that 5 and 11 are somehow related. But what does the number 5 mean? To me, 5 symbolizes the initiation into a new level. It is the end result of our experiences. There are 5 races and 5 senses. Our experiences lead us into an initiation. BTW – for those who are interested, Edgar Cayce said that both Jesus and John the Baptist took their final rites in the Great Pyramid of Giza. And, as we know, the pyramid has five points and five sides. However, the pyramid also has eight edges. And, I believe that the number eight is associated with rebirth. Thus, the pyramid makes an excellent place for the rite of initiation. Hope this helps. |
