| Christians, is this offensive to you? I e-mailed a girl who had a really good reputation in the chrisitan fellowship my ideas/interpreation about the book of revelations 7 days ago and she has not replied to my e-mail. I basically said that there was numerology in the bible, that the entire old testament was written in parable, that the 12 tribes of isreal symbolise 12 hours in a day, and that there are 20 commanmdnets in the bible, not ten. (a physical version of the ten commandments, and a spiritual version) So I thought maybe she thought I was dishonest because what I said was controversial and different from the norm? My question is, is she ignoring me? Do you ever wait for one week before replying to someone's e-mail? |
| If you were to ask me, it is really not offensive, because I would still stand firm to what I have instilled regarding the biblical scriptures. Having contradictions are just normal, but the most important thing is your faith. Probably, that person who received your email has various valid reasons. If you really want to contact her, you can retry sending her an email. Who knows? She might reply. |
