| Attract Your Ideal Companion In my other posts regarding the law of attraction I’ve pointed out that one of the most important things you need to do in order to manifest your desires is change the way you think and feel. In general, I’ve written about how to attract your desires but really haven’t focused on any one wish. Attracting wealth and abundance seems to be the most popular motive when referring to the law of attraction. However, what if you find yourself yearning to find that perfect companion? Maybe all you desire is to be with that one person you were meant to be with, your “soul mate.” Can you use the law of attraction to bring this person into your life? Absolutely!Before I go into attracting your soul mate let me review some very important points about the LOA. First, you have to believe in order to receive. Second, get into those positive thoughts and feelings as if your desire has already been manifested into your life. And lastly, be patient and let things fall in place; don’t get discouraged if your desire doesn’t happen right away. Remember the familiar expression, “Good things come to those who wait.” We can use the law of attraction to manifest that loving, ideal relationship into our lives if we know how to properly apply the principles of attraction. Whether or not people are willfully applying the LOA to find their soul mate, one common oversight is usually made. The focus of your intent should not be on any one individual. So many of us make the mistake of trying to attract a particular person into our lives; typically a long lost love, perhaps a coworker, a friend, or maybe someone met through a social networking site. The point here is that we shouldn’t get tunnel vision and focus all those feelings and emotions towards one person. Every one of us has free will and if we try to attract to us someone who doesn’t feel the same way about us as we do about them then the law of attraction will not work. However, if two people feel the same way towards each other the power of the law of attraction will almost certainly bring them together. Now that we have a better understanding of what we shouldn’t be doing, let’s discuss how we should go about attracting that ideal mate. If you have ever been head over heels for someone you probably remember having many fantasies about what it would be like if you were in a relationship with that person. Therefore, in order to use the law of attraction to manifest that desired relationship, keep the same feelings you had in your fantasy but leave out the person you fantasized about. Just envision yourself in the kind of relationship you seek, really embrace all those feelings and emotions, but don’t picture being with anyone in particular. By doing this, you are sending out to the universe the feelings of being in love with your soul mate; consequently, you will attract back to you what you are sending out. Trust that the universe, the Infinite, God or whatever you want to refer to this power as will ultimately put you into the relationship that you’ve always desired. Don’t get discouraged, have faith and keep believing, you shall receive. |
