The power of Hypnosisspiritualforum - Hypnosis
The power of Hypnosis Sometimes or other we have heard this word which immediately takes our attention. I personally had one experience where I have seen the power of hypnosis. I was hypnosised to believe that the person I am talking to is my well-wisher which he obviously was not. IT took my relatives some time to get me out of that.
#1Chris A from the Philippines | I saw a couple of Hypnotism being practiced on television. I don't know whether it is based on actual facts (but usually they're not), a hypnotist is conducting a seminar over hundreds of people and he calls for volunteers. He hypnotized them to eat an onion making them think it was a delicious apple, when the hypnotist wake them up from their hypnotic state, they immediately threw up some of the onion in their mouths. |
Yeah hypnotism does really work.. I went to Las Vegas and there was a hypnotist show at the Paris Hotel & Casino.. His name was Anthiny Cools.. He also asks for volunteers. For $50 my friends bribbed me to volunteer. So I did. When he hypnotises you, you are conpletely awake and can hear everything. But he has control over your mind. He made us do the weirdest things.. Of coarse being that we were in Vegas, there had to be some nasty in the show.. So he made us do some pretty embarrassing things that I would never do if I wasnt hypnotised! At the end of the show he "wakes you" and as soon as he does, you remember everything! It was a pretty cool experience. Check out the website for Anthony Cools..
I personally dn't believe in this hypnotizing stuff. I don't understand the concept of how someone is able to get into someone else's mind that far that they are able to make them do or say certain things
I agree with Sara, I myself have never been hypnotized but I did think about it one time to try it to get me to quit smoking. I have heard it works and seen it on television but how many of those people were actors. I would like to know some more on this, and to know how many people have actually had it done to them.
Hypnotism must be true cause there is an actual dedicated medical group of people who really believe it does. They claim that it is real and they are even using it to remedy a number of disorder. There's even and special group for this, the American Psychotherapy and Medical Hypnosis Association I've read before that dentist are the newest field of medicine to use hypnotism while performing their tooth operations
I have practiced some self hypnosis, it's a lighter form of hypnosis, more similar to the first topic from Sams. You can change your thinking process and release some very damaging thinking patterns and replace them with new possitive ones. Also, it is possible to have intimate conversations with a higher being of light about your life purpose or simply recieve the healing gift of light. If you do it before bed, you may experience this all night long, and as you awake you will have the choice to remember or forget. Self hypnosis is in your power to use, and you are always in power when you use it.
I have seen live stage hypnotist's and from the first time I saw it happen I was hooked. I admit that some people are more hypnotizable than others and selection is a key part to stage hypnotism
I will admit, I was a bit skeptical about the whole hypnotism thing. But then I went to one of the shows, like some people mentioned above, and I couldn't help but believe. The hypnotist had asked his hypnotized volunteers to pet an imaginary cat. A few of the people had content smiles and they petted the air in front of them. All of a sudden the hypnotist told them the cat ran away. One guy actually got up ran to a table and brought a purse back with him and started petting it like it was his lost cat. Of course the purse was returned, but that is what got me to split my sides laughing.
Here are some signs of hypnosis. 1. Fluttering of the eyelids 2. Increased redness or wetness of the eyes (upon opening them) 3. General relaxation and loosening of the muscles 4. "Flattening" of the facial muscles (they look very relaxed) 5. Waxy skin tonus (the person will begin to look more like a mannequin - this is very subtle) 6. Feelings of warmth or coolness or tingling sensations 7. It may take a slight effort for them to swallow 8. Changes in breathing rate and depth 9. Fingers, arms or legs twitching slightly You may expect to find some or all of these with your subject.
