| What is "happiness"?Hard to define. This varied from place to place and between spiritual traditions. For some it is a personīs contact with God, for others it is based on the "equilibrium" in our lives, a sort of balance between our spiritual and material lives. Happiness is also described as a feeling. Some days one has a happy feeling, other days an unhappy feeling, many times we donīt know why. So, then whatīs up? The recommendation is to find a religion or spiritual tradition that suits us and follow their guidelines as to what happiness is. Basically, it seems that we are "programmed" by our ideas and the our feelings follow. Sound right? God bless all. |
| As for me, happiness is a state of mind. We all deserve happiness from all the effort we exert to succeed in life. We gain love and strength from our loved ones. I may say that happiness can start with a small thing if we only know how to appreciate them. I'm grateful with the people who inspire me and make me happy. Let me share this poem I am inspired of. |
| "Choosing To Be A Happy Person "
That is true. We need to do our best to be happy. Why spend the rest of our lives being in misery and pain when we can choose to be happy? There are lots of reasons for us to be happy. And being appreciative is one way to see life in a much lighter perspective. From the simplest reasons, we can surely find happiness within us. Thanks for sharing the poem here. |
