I always wounder if other see these see things also. Comment #1 billie (152.163.38.69) - I see things when I shut my eyes and sit quietly. Never wake up seeing things. Comment #2 rayn (64.228.210.85) - billie what kind of things do you see (gemma) Comment #3 Dave from Halifax - i just did a search on google on 'seeing things' when i wake up, and this came up. Happens to me quite a bit, just last night again. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Ghosts ( one of my first thoughts, I woke up to an old lady in my room), but more about dreaming and your mind. It used to scare the heck out of me, but I'm used to it now. Comment #4 Dave from Halifax - ah, should have went to the second link: Comment #5 christine (68.17.172.34) - i am already awake when i see things, usually it is people or an animal! but the other day, i saw a car and looked up and it was not there, a little while later, i saw a car coming towards me, then it was gone and then i saw one coming around my building out the front window but it never came around. each time it was the same car, that afternoon, the girl that works for me said she was being followed by a car and she described the car i had been seeing! what is that about? Comment #6 Joyce or Adam or Lisa from U.S.A. - Dear Christine, Comment #7 ANGELE (66.210.234.154) - MY BOYFRIENDS FAMILY TELLS ME THAT THEIR HOUSE IT HAUNTED... BUT I ALSO WALK AND TALK IN MY SLEEP. A FEW NIGHTS IN A ROW I HAVE WOKE UP TO SOME MAN IN THE ROOM!!! SOMETIMES HE IS WALKING AROUND THE BED OR LEANING OVER THE BED WITH HIS HAND ON MY LEGS... IS THIS ME DREAMING OR THE GHOSTS? Comment #8 dianna (69.232.200.235) - I have woken up twice in the past 18 months and seen a man standing in my room. The first time, I woke up and a man wearing a baseball cap, and a hoode sweatshirt with the hood pulled over the baseball cap was just staring at me, I started screaming and even called the police, but there was no signs of a break in, and no signs of anyone being there, then about 2 months ago, I woke up and saw a different man staring at me, this guy had blond curly hair and smiled when I saw him, again I started screaming and my husband(who sleeps in another room) and my son came running in and said no one was in the house. I know I am not dreaming, and now I am afraid to go to sleep, I sleep with the tv on, or the lights, but only get abut 2 hours a night. What should I do??? Comment #9 levi and vikki (78.145.121.170) - the other night i was on the computer in bed and i looked up and seen a black shadow go past, quite fast and then the next night my sister was in my bed asleep next to me, while i was on the computer and all of sudden she shot up and said why did you grab me for? but i didnt touch her. and now i keep hearing things, and im not the only one who has witnessed this. please help! Comment #10 Stan (63.176.159.223) - Maybe you aren't seeing things. Maybe your just thinking something in your head and making yourself believe you see it.. Comment #11 Ket (76.20.118.85) - I am not sure if this was just bad dream or real thing. I woke up and felt a presence in the room but couldn't see nobody there. My dog and cat that sleep in the same room with me started to growl and hiss. I got up and felt something moving closer (feeling and dull sound growing a bit louder)all of a sudden i felt someone's fingers on my neck started to choke me, i was in absolute horror feeling helpless. It lasted only 5 or little more seconds and hands withdrew, sound disappeared. I opened my eyes: everything was exactly like in my dream down to what i was wearing and position i was laying in bed not including surroundings and my animals (now that i understood it was a dream, and i was asleep only for half an hr). I would continue to think it was only a bad dream if it this didn't repeat few times now. Fortunately nobody choked me anymore but few times something heavy was laying on me and couple times i seen light or energy or w/e it was moving around my room (and then i would wake up; same setting as in my first dream. meaning i was asleep only half an hr and wake up in the same room and same position etc.). Comment #12 me (63.176.159.145) - i have dreams where i run as hard as i can but don't get anywhere.. Comment #13 Camerin (63.176.159.234) - I also have some weird dreams but mine are always that I am running or walking and I trip and fall off of a mountain and just before I hit the bottom, I jump and wake up. I have heard that everyone has these dreams and once you hit bottom you die. Comment #14 owain (212.121.210.21) - i was in my room once Comment #15 vincent (93.125.178.171) - if eyesight is decreased you can see things that aren'really there..but if it are ghosts just let them be and don't be afraid because they fed of our fear...hug them and tell them you love them for all the things deserve their peace..they can not really harm you Comment #16 Chad (98.161.16.3) - okay, i have 2 questions: 1.how do u hug a ghost?&2. why is their a ghost following me everywhere i go? cuz every single place that ive lived so far has been haunted and ive lived in 5 houses. Comment #17 Jade (63.176.159.203) - "Sleep paralysis is most often associated with narcolepsy, a neurological condition in which the person has uncontrollable naps. However, there are many people who experience sleep paralysis without having signs of narcolepsy. Sometimes it runs in families. There is no known explanation why some people experience this paralysis. It is not harmful, although most people report feeling very afraid because they do not know what is happening, and within minutes they gradually or abruptly are able to move again; the episode is often terminated by a sound or a touch on the body." Comment #18 Dustin (63.176.159.20) - Dreams are a series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is known as oneirology. Comment #19 Sheina (63.176.159.97) - I have watched a National Geographics (or was it Discovery Channel?) documentary on whether UFOs are real or not. Well this is not an irrelevant topic against the forum's topic about dreams because a segment of that documentary focuses on the "abductees" stating that they know they are awake but can't move and seeing strange stuffs and creatures which science explained that they were only dreaming or half asleep and half-awake. Comment #20 Mherlocke (63.176.159.159) - I think your eyes are just messing with you guys here. The usual statement I've noticed is you seeing something or someone in particular at the wee hours in the morning which either makes you half-asleep and half-awake. The brain can play tricks on our perception like what Sheina said before me, blame it all on the subconscious. But then again there is also the psychics and people with an open third eye but that is another topic. Comment #21 john (74.64.88.147) - to whom it may concern: i was wonding if you can help me with this , i recently went to a friends funaral, and when i got up to the coffen i saw his one eye open and he was staring into the people sitting there at his funaral. i dont know what this can mean for i was the only one that can see that. you know any other reason for this. i wasent really very colse to the man layed out , thank you please reply. mr john shields Comment #22 Dakota (71.52.171.19) - I see ghosts everywhere..
