| Questions: Do you feel like you don't belong anywhere...any group sharing a comm Not talking about teenage angst. I'm much older and I just don't feel like I belong to anything/anywhere. I love science, but not smart enough to run w/ that group. I like photography, but am a amateur. I just don't excel at anything. I think I'm an interesting person...but do tend to love logic and so not the most exciting person. I just don't relate to my friends anymore, so I've pretty much stopped doing things w/ them. I want to ;progress on my spiritual journey, but it's not w/ religion, so there isn't a place for me to go to talk about stuff like that. I really think it's my time to morph, but finding being by myself comfortable. That should be UNcomfortable |
| How do you find yourself? You are confused? Why are feeling like you don't belong? I felt the same way before, but it was all because of ME. I want to do a lot of things. So many things, that when I settle down on something I'll feel this isn't for me. Then I hop again to another, then to the other one, till I find myself doing things repeatedly and never satisfied. Reflect what you really want, where you wanna belong. You'll find it.. Just pray, God will lead you.. ^_^ |
| Find yourself. No one can help you but yourself. I understand how it feels when it seems like you are not accepted in a group. Even how hard to try to reach out them, you seem not to exist. But you don't have to please them. You can find true friendship and love with others. Just be yourself, let them know who you are, and from reality you'll know who accepts the real you. |

People can give advice but no other can help you with your battle than yourself. You must talk to yourself as to why are you feeling that way. It seems like you are afraid to be with people. We have our own talent and weaknesses. We are created to be who we are. God just want us to find our self worth and use that to be close with Him. |
| It is important that teenager are aware of the things that they undergo in their middle life. The feeling that a young person feels like isolation and feeling of rejection is one way of knowing how to handle this things. As a teacher, it is important to know why things happen and ow to overcome this problem in the future. I hope it will be solve as soon as possible. |
| Being by yourself isn't a disease. Also, the "I'm not smart enough" argument doesn't work as you're thinking that talent and skills come easier to other people then to you. What you're discounting is that other people aren't born smart or skilled, they work at it. If you are saying that you like being by yourself but "aren't smart" enough then get smart enough but challenging yourself. Really, what do you do alone? Watch television or YouTube? Enrich your mind and be by yourself at the library. |
| "Loving Yourself Is the Key "
It is sad to feel that way, for once I also got the same feeling with myself. Some of my friends are well established and some of them really are doing well. One time that I felt down was when I felt stupid for creating problems and got really humiliated being thrown words at. But that was long ago and now I am a much better person. Thanks to some good old friends who are very supportive over me. Now I learned to love myself more than ever. |
