person wants to hurt me-type dreams

I've been having bad dreams for the past few days. It isn't the same people in them, but the dreams are generally about the same every nite. Last nite I dreamed that i was running away from someone, but I don't know who it was. I end up in some room with about 3 more people and they are really scared as well. The person in the middle out of nowhere gets his skin taken off his body, as in, I'm watching something or someone just peel his skin off and he's screaming. I can feel that I'm scared and run out of the room, but then I awake.

In these dreams, I never, ever see the person that's trying to hurt me nor do I know any of the people who are getting hurt in the dreams. No, I haven't watched any scary movies lately and this is really keeping me from getting a good nite sleep.

This is a pretty interesting dream. Somebody chasing you could perhaps indicate that someone is trying to stop you from doing something, maybe a friend, or some one you are not aware of. It could also indicate they are out to hurt you, and sooner or later they may achieve this if you keep running. Maybe you have to face up to something? Are you running from problems, or hiding how you really feel about something? Protect the ones you care about, if you see them in pain, or in distress, be there for them. You and the people in your dream are scared of something, don't let whatever or whoever is causing this get to you.
