HI, crystals are useful. Crystals which have not been melted down, have points of light in the them. Points of light are beings with intelligence, they can obey commands. As long as the commands are and clear simple. Using intuitive senses, you should always feel the energy of crystal to see if it suited to your energy and whether it is programmable. You can gently but firmly command the crystal to stop all of its current programs. You can clear crystals with a ton of methods, as well as program them. Some of the more common ways to cleanse them are with natural elements such as the sun, moon, and water. Sage and smudging are some other good ones to do. For programming, try an active method as this works much quicker then a passive method.
