| Hi Mellissa, Automatic writting is one form of channeling and the best suggestion is to practice automatic writting as much as you can and read learn info about channeling. You can do it with pen/pencil and paper or with the computer. When you practice, relax and center yourself, surround yourself with white light and ask that only high level spiritual beings of light and love connect with you. | I did not know that there was such a thing as automatic writing skills. Writing is not always automatic because in the first place, writing is a gift and a talent. Not everyone has it and even those who have it also experience this thing called writer's block, which means that writing is not always automatic. Although it helps to have lots of practice and exposure to different topics to hone one's writing skills. |
| I'm sorry, "automatic writing" sounds like an excuse for people not wanting to take the time and effort to review their drafts after first creation. If often read this type of writing from students who think they can "channel", which in reality is an excuse not to give the necessary effort to write something to the best of their abilites. |
