| A very beautiful poem by L.K.Thayer.He has folded the entire moments of lives in few paragraphs.Its true that we cannot take everything along with us because life is not finite.We remain in the memories of people in whose life we might have brought a little array of light or a hope, a smile upon a face whose reason is you. Its true that after we die we do not leave the physical traces behind, but you leave i memories of those on whose life you have left traces behind. |
| I am truly inspired by the inspiring thoughts of LK Thayer from his poem. I think we all have grudges in our live and at times we tend to look back as we asked ourselves why these things happen to us. However, it would be better to leave those bad memories in the past and move on as we try to look at the brighter side of our lives. |
| Hi there! Wow! I am so amazed with the poem written by L. K. Thayer. I think that this poem is very meaningful. If we dig deep into it, we realize that in our lives, we always leave something behind, sometimes even unconsciously. We just have to look back from time to time regardless of where we are going. | Most of us think that we are successful in the field that we are into as long as we are earning a lot, having lots of good time outside and just letting time goes by as we live. But at the end of the day we will realize that we have something in the past that we need to look up to. Moving forward would never be easy if we just forget about the past, it is a part of us. |
| There is really something, whatever it is, that we will leave behind. Hence, we should be conscious of what we will leave behind especially to our family and friends. Do we want to leave behind good memories of our moments with them or do we want them to just remember all the pain and sorrow that we have caused them? I choose to leave good footprints and wonderful memories with them. |
