There is no life after death - Afterlife
| There is no life after deathWhy do all of us put some explanation behind everything. Why can't we just stay as we are and just "Be" while we are alive on this Earth. I do not believe in life after death or the afterlife. People usually has tendency to rely on some greater power or some "divine" with hopes of salvation and redemption. Thus, restricting them to enjoy the basic pleasures of life such as food, lifestyle and other forms of entertainment. We only have one life so make the most out of it. Leave every day like it is your last for we will be living only once, no reincarnations, no hell, no heaven, no harem of a hundred women, and so on and so forth. |
| "Doesn't work out that way!! "
Well.. hmm .. what can I say? Life, unfortunately, is not a bed of roses, especially for people who are so poor that they can't even eat one square meal a day or for those who are stuck in violent places and so on. And of course, the mentally challenged, the chronic ill, and so on really can't enjoy this life, even if is the only one they have got. For such people and even for those who seem to have it all, yet are unhappy, the idea of an afterlife, where everything is light and roses, is alluring. :) |
| "Okayyyy"
umm well lets see i believe in an afterlife also where does all that energy go after we die remember it can't be destroyed nor created its of to enjoy pleasures of life and live it like its the last day but as flying dreams said its not so for many other people. |
| "Life and Death"
It is not a question of life or death or life after death... it is simple that life and death are two phases of existence.Expert Page: The Fabric of Life |
| Hi there! As a firm believer of the Catholic faith, I strongly believe that their is really a life after death. In the Holy Scripture, it is said that after this life on earth, we will be judged as to whether we will have a good life after death or not. It's up to us if we are going to believe it or not as well. Thanks you so much to all of you guys and have a great day to all! |
| "People and Faith"
Like what one mentioned earlier, what of people who can't even eat thrice a day, what about those who are differently abled? For this, faith and religion might be useful as it would give them hope and motivation to still exist. To devote their lives to some divine being that will reward them for being good individuals. But the question is, is there truth in any of these believe system? Or if it is true, then how can you be sure that you are on the right path to salvation? Where would you place your faith in? To the Hindu God? Shinto God? Catholic God? Protestant God? etc? will they all give you salvation? |
| "Death - A Different Stage of Life?"
Whether or not to believe in an afterlife is a very personal matter, and fortunately the Creator provided for all of us to evolve and develop at our own individual rates of progress. I've been very, very lucky in this lifetime in that I came into this existence with awareness of where I was before birth and of being in the womb. I remember some of my previous lifetimes and have become aware of past and current relationships. It's a matter of personal experience, and if a person hasn't had an experience of some kind to help grasp the notion of an afterlife, the person might have difficulty doing so. What if it's a matter of a transformation of our energy, a change in vibration frequency? Since I remember my life before birth, it's easier to believe there is a life after this existence. Perhaps death is only a change in our energy, and it's really just a matter of a different stage of life. |
